(Lawrence, Ks.) - The Haskell golf team has two qualify for Regionals.

(Lawrence, Ks.) - In the MCAC Conference Tournament Championship the Haskell golf team has two qualify for Regionals. Brad Yeubanks wins All Conference and Terence Mata wins Honorable Mention All Conference.

Brad Yeubanks finished 3rd overall carding a 1st round 80 and a 2nd round 81 for a total score of 161 and earning an All Conference Award. Terence Mata finished 7th overall carding a 1st round 87 and a 2nd round 91 for a total score of 178 and earning an Honorable Mention All Conference Award.

Both players qualified to move on and play in the Region 4 Tournament scheduled to be played April 28th and 29th at the Sunflower Hills Golf Course located in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

Cody Price from Central Christian College won top honors and the All Conference Player of the Year by carding a 1st round 77 and a 2nd round 77 for a total 154. Aaron Crowley from Oklahoma Wesleyan University took second place overall by carding a 1st round 80 and a 2nd round 77 for a total score of 157.

After the first round Central Christian College was in first place, Haskell was in second and Oklahoma Wesleyan was in third place. Central Christian College held on to win the championship with Oklahoma Wesleyan Univ. second and Haskell third.
