Home Opener vs. Bethany College

After starting the 2008-09 season with two road losses, the Haskell Indains had their home opener Tuesday night, 11/4, against Bethany College. After jumping out to an early lead they battled to the final seconds when Dominic Clichee hit the game winning shot with a little over a second remaininng. Winning the game 69-67. Clichee lead all scorers with 16 points followed by a 15 point performance by Vince Chavez. Dan Brown was the leading rebounder with 13 rebounds, he also has 11 points earning him his first double double of the season. They hope to carry this momentum into their next game, on the road at Bethel College this friday November 7, 2008.
