First two home conference games

The Haskell men's basketball team opened their conference play last weekend. Their first game was Friday 1/16/2009 against Oklahoma Wesleyan University which they lost 99 to 65. The team’s two leading scores was Ben Carry Water with 15 points and Dominic Tiger-Cortes with 14 points and the leading rebounder Ron Cunningham with 4 rebounds. The second game that weekend was against the College of the Ozarks on 1/17/2009 that they lost 78 to 70. The team’s leading scorer was DJ Fish with 18 points followed by Ben Carry Water and Dominick Clichee who each had 13 points. Ben also led the team in rebounds with 8 followed closely by DJ’s 7. Haskell’s next two games will be on the road against Peru University on 1/23/2009 and Bellevue on 1/24/2009
