Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act Survey

The Center for Institutional Effectiveness (CIE) works in collaboration with the Haskell Athletic Department, Bursar ‘s Office, and Financial Aid Office to compile the data for this report.

The completion of this report is mandated by the Department of Education to all colleges and universities receiving federal financial aid funding. A copy of the report is available upon request from the institutional contact (see below). Previous reports can be found at the Equity in Athletics Data Analysis website hosted by the Department of Education at the following url: ope.ed.gov/athletics/#/

Reporting institutions are allowed to selected their reporting time frame. Our reporting period is September 1st to August 31st. The major changes reflected in this year ‘s information for the year 2014 -2015 include changes in numbers of student-athletes, specifically for men. The drop in men’s participation is due to the suspension of the football program in 2015. This year Haskell Athletics fielded nine sports – Basketball (Men and Women), Cross Country (Men and Women), Softball, Volleyball (Women), Golf (Men), and Track and Field (Men and Women). There were 90 participants – 42 men and 48 women.

Haskell is a member of the NAIA. The university belongs to the Association of Independent Institutions (AII) conference.
