VISION STATEMENT
Vision The Haskell Cultural Center and Museum is dedicated in remembrance of the first Haskell students in 1884, and to all students who have attended Haskell. The vision of the Haskell Cultural Center and Museum is to serve as a steward of living American Indian materials and traditions. The museum provides present day and historical information regarding American Indian culture through art, exhibitions, educational programs, and research. Mission StatementThe mission of the Haskell Cultural Center and Museum is to truthfully tell the story of Haskell’s evolution from a government boarding school to a four-year university for American Indian students. The Haskell Cultural Center and Museum is a place of living heritage and serves as a teaching facility for Haskell students, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as the general public. Values
