Teacher Education Curriculum Library
The Teacher Education Curriculum Library section supports the general elementary education curriculum at Haskell Indian Nations University. Materials collected cover the content areas of mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts. In addition, materials cover current educational teaching practices, human growth and development theories, and picture books on American Indian and Alaska Native cultures and other cultures. The Curriculum Library has approximately 3,000 volumes and items are cataloged and prefixed by the call number T.ED. |
John S. Painter Collection
This collection was donated by the family of John S. Painter. It contains approximately 450 historical volumes of which the majority are Native American related. The books in this collection are identified by the “PAINTER” designation of the book identification number |
Haskell Yearbook Collection
Haskell’s yearbook collection, which is titled the Indian Leader, is housed in Tommaney Library (ASC). The collection is available from 1911 through 2003. To view collection, ask at the Circulation Desk for assistance.

Native Language
The Native Language section consists of a collection of tribal language dictionaries and books. You can find this collection adjacent to Reference.
