General Information:
- Appropriate attire (shirts, pants, shoes) is to be worn at all times.
- There is a refreshment area specifically for light snacks and drinks.
- Cell phones are not allowed in regard to other patrons.
- Ipods with earphones are allowed but must be kept at low volume.
- Please do not re-shelve books after use.
Circulation:
- A Haskell library card is required for all transactions.
- Library material is checked out for 1 month.
- Textbooks are checked out for the current semester.
- All library materials are due at the end of the current semester.
- All library materials accrue overdue charges and are computed at a rate of $ .25 per item, per day. Interlibrary loan overdue charges are computed at a rate of $1.00 per item, per day. Overdue charges stop when the item is checked in. Charges for lost or damaged library materials are assessed for the full purchase price plus a $10.00 processing fee, plus any accrued fines. Fees and fines are non-refundable.
- Checkout privileges are suspended for overdue material. Failure to resolve overdue material will create a “hold” on transcripts and grades and will affect future enrollment status.
- Reference material, magazines, newspapers and reserve materials do not circulate out of the library. Reserve materials consist of reference sources and faculty-requested material that are kept at the circulation desk.
- Please check out all library material 15 minutes before closing. At this time the front doors are secured and closing procedures are initiated.
