Right to Privacy
All records maintained by the Tommaney Library are protected by the Privacy Act.
Under no circumstances will personal information about any Tommaney Library patron or ASC employees be given out to other parties. Personal information includes: Social Security number, school address, home address, phone numbers, or class schedules.
Information about books or other materials used and /or checked out by patrons is to be kept confidential at all times. Staff will not disclose information of this type to anyone. Staff will keep patron records on computer from being visible to the public.
A written letter/directive from the Haskell Indian Nations University administration will be required for an exception to be made to any of the above.
