The following criteria is required for all Haskell Study Abroad participants. All application materials need to be submitted to the International Education Office. Consideration for acceptance will be given to those participants with completed applications.
ELIGIBILITY
- The minimum academic requirement is a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
- The participant must also be in good social standing in accordance with the guidelines defined by the Office of Student Services.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
A complete application consists of:
- Application Profile (application)
- Personal Statement (250 words/double-spaced)
- Transcript (official copy)
- Two Letters of Reference (one faculty reference and one personal
reference: employer, club sponsor, residential assistant, etc.) - Physical (6 months prior to travel date)

APPLICATION DEADLINE
December/winter travel - OCT 15
March/spring travel - JAN 15
May/June early summer travel - MAR 15
July/Aug late summer travel - APRIL 15
ACCEPTANCE
- Only complete applications will be considered for study abroad programs.
- Upon acceptance you will receive a letter from the International Education Committee containing all pertinent information regarding your study abroad program.
ORIENTATION
You must attend a required orientation as a condition to your participation. The date of the orientation is established in accordance to your study abroad travel program. You will be notified of your orientation date.
