Haskell Intertribal Cultural Club

Mission Statement: To share diverse traditional values, skills, knowledge, heritage, and artistic abilities to promote intertribal relationships.

Purpose of the Organization: To provide common understanding and awareness of diverse cultures, heritage and traditional artistic skills of Haskell Indian Nations University students. To share traditional knowledge and artistic abilities in an organizational setting that will benefit Haskell as well as the Lawrence,KS Community and other various entities. To provide support and encouragement for all members and future artists within the organization

The Haskell Intertribal Cultural Club or "H.I.C.C." is made up of diverse tribes and individuals. Our club features performances that incorporate sharing our heritage/culture with others. Education in culture and traditions leads to unity and this unity between others is what drives the club. The H.I.C.C. is new to the Haskell campus, only being around for a few years, however the club is based off of an older campus club that was active for many years.

The Haskell Intertribal Cultural Club's weekly meetings will be held every Thursday at 6pm in Haskell Library Room #119.
All are welcome to attend!
