Haskell’s TRIO Program

Eligibility Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident
• Be accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled at Haskell Indian Nations University
• Demonstrate academic need
• Demonstrate high motivation to successfully complete your coursework

You must also meet any ONE of the following criteria:

• A first-generation college student (parent/guardian has not received a four-year college bachelor’s degree before the applicant’s 18th birthday)
• Low-income according to federal guidelines (Pell eligible)
• Have a documented disability through the Disability Support Services
• Homeless (transitioning from foster care)
