Christopher Bowers-Girty, 7th grader at Central Jr. High, son of Sherry Girty and grandson of Andy and Francis Girty has been selected to compete in Baseball at the Youth Friendship Games in Austria this summer. He will be a People to People Sports Ambassador. As an ambassador, Chris will experience the thrill of international competition with other athletes from home and across the globe while earning academic or service learning credit.
