VISION
To serve as the university’s central resource for data and analysis, empowering the university to drive strategic growth, support continuous improvement, and make informed decisions that enhance student success and institutional excellence, while ensuring compliance through accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
MISSION
The Center for Institutional Effectiveness supports the university and its mission by providing data, information and analysis on student achievement and the university to support strategic planning initiatives, continuous improvement, and institutional data decision making at every level.

Representation by Region
Students at Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) come from tribes across the twelve Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) regions, along with a thirteenth region representing the Four Tribes of Kansas. This diverse representation helps to sustain Indigenous cultures, histories, and perspectives, fostering a learning environment that honors tribal sovereignty and strengthens intertribal connections. By bringing together students from different nations, HINU creates a space for cultural exchange, collaboration, and the continuation of Indigenous traditions.
